The Smart Virtual Classroom has been installed & commissioned at 75 Schools and 4 DIETS of Sikkim and Assam along with Central infrastructure in NCR. In this phase, 3 aspirational districts of Assam (i.e. 12 Schools in Barpeta, 11 Schools in Dhubri and 9 Schools in Goalpara) and 1 aspirational district of Sikkim (i.e. 43 Schools in West Sikkim) has been covered. One-day operational hands-on training on the skill set of usage of Smart Virtual Classroom infrastructure has been imparted to 2 teachers of each of the 43 Schools and 1 DIET of Sikkim. During this Covid-19 pandemic, SVC classes are ongoing in Sikkim & Assam. Teachers are conducting the Smart Virtual Classroom sessions/lectures from their home by utilizing the software based Smart Virtual Classroom solution and Students are participating in the session from their mobile/laptop/tablet. During the current lockdown period, 42+ sessions have been conducted in the month of June, 2021.
